The training day

Eight hours.
No dance or
fitness degree
required.

Live and online, so you do it from your lounge room. Mel runs the whole day herself.

  1. The Fitesque method

Learn how we blend the pillars of burlesque, confidence, fun, theatricality, sass, sensuality and self-expression, with commercial dance fitness to create the Fitesque experience.

At the heart of the method are our six signature S’s: Strut, Stretch, Spank, Surprise, Shake and Sexy. More than movements, they are the energy, personality and confidence woven into every class.

  2. Masterclass: routines & music

Experience a full Fitesque masterclass featuring our Foundation Tracks, including boa struts, dance fitness, character-driven choreography and confidence-building movement.

We break down the routines, musicality, transitions and teaching techniques, giving you the tools to confidently teach a class that feels uniquely Fitesque.

  3. Cueing & leadership

Learn how to command a room with confidence. You develop your cueing, communication and teaching skills while practising with one of our Foundation Tracks in a supportive training environment.

The goal is not perfection. It is learning how to create an experience people can follow, feel and enjoy.

  4. Teach your way

Fitesque is not about creating carbon-copy instructors. You learn how to deliver the Fitesque method while bringing your own personality, energy and teaching style to every class.

  5. Getting set up for success

We help you get fully set up in the F.L.I.R.T. Portal, create your instructor profile, add your first class and access all the resources you need. That includes routines, marketing assets, business tools, class-building resources and ongoing support.

By the end of the day you know exactly how to launch your first Fitesque class.

  6. After your training

There is no separate post-training assessment. Throughout the day you are supported and assessed as you learn, practise and present your Foundation Track.

Once you have completed your training you become a Certified Fitesque Instructor and receive access to our four-week Launch Support Series, designed to help you confidently take your first class from planning to launch. You leave with a clear roadmap, practical tools and the support to start teaching.
